How to Capture Video in the Dark with Your Camcorder
A camcorder is a useful electronic gadget that can capture video. It is valuable because it can help you keep audio and video records of your most treasured memories. Many families and friends use camcorders during weekend trips or travels and parties or special gatherings so that the video can be watched at a future date.
Since a camcorder can take video, it can also be a tool for surveillance particularly when you want to uncover unknown mysteries. The problem with most camcorders, however, is that they are unable to record videos in the dark, or if they do, the quality of the video is very poor. Nevertheless, infrared technology has been developed which uses a special light to capture movements in the dark. Some camcorders actually come with a built in infrared illuminator, and you can use this to take some video during the night. However, most built in infrared is only low powered and it has its limitations.
