Step 1
Purchase the International Students Bulletin (Cost: Rs.500/-) from the University Publication Office. This Bulletin has the application. The form may also be downloaded from the website www.unipune.ernet.in

Step 2
Pay Rs.600/- for non-professional courses and Rs.1200/- for professional courses as eligibility fees. This may be paid to the Bank of Maharashtra, University of Pune extension counter or by Demand Draft in the name of Registrar, University of Pune payable at Pune.

Step 3
Fill up the application form and submit it along with all necessary documents. The counterfoil of the Eligibility fee payment must also be submitted. Every student will be required to submit an undertaking on Rs.20/- stamp paper.

Step 4
The International Students Centre will require minimum 24 working hours after submission of documents, for processing undergraduate admissions. Post-graduate admissions will be finalized only after June of the year in which the form is submitted.

Step 5
Collect Provisional Admission and Eligibility letter, on the basis of this letter the Indian Embassy in your country will issue a Student Visa (only Student Visas are accepted).

Step 6
Please pay the Entrance fee, Medical fee and Medical Insurance fee. The amount to be paid is USD 655. This may be paid in USD or the equivalent sum in Indian rupees. This must be done by the applicant in person. The applicants must carry all original certificates, which must be shown on demand.

Step 7
Please submit receipts of the above payments to the International Centre. This completes the initiate procedure.

Step 8
The International Centre, upon receipt of the above will require minimum 24 working hours to finally process and allot the college on first come first serve basis.

Step 9
Please come after 24 working hours in person to collect your letter. The consolidated list of students will be dispatched to the respective colleges on the last 24 working hours of the week.

Step 10
Please go to the college allotted to you with the International Centre letter of admission and pay the fees at the college, to complete the procedures there and take admission.

Step 11
It is the responsibility of the student to report to the college and course allotted to you within 7 days of issue of letter. Failure to report will entail automatic cancellation of admission. No refund of any of the fees paid to the University of Pune is possible under any circumstances.

Step 12
It is mandatory for any student from non English speaking countries to pass English Proficiency Test and his/her responsibility to be present on the day of the examination.

Following students are exempted from English Proficiency Test.

• Students from English speaking Countries
• Students who have passed from Indian H.S.C. Boards
• Students who have passes ELICIS Course with B+ (Grade)


We request all International Students to follow the procedure strictly. Those who refuse to accept the above rules will not be given admission.
 

 
        All  the  International  Students should note that the proper Student/ Research VISA must be endorsed to
            University of Pune only and no other endorsement shall be accepted.
 

An International Student desiring of joining in the Professional courses in Engineering, Management (MBA), Pharmacy & Architecture is required to obtain a NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India, New Delhi.

Note
No Objection Certificate is not required to be obtained for Professional Undergraduate Courses in Law, Education and General Courses in Arts, Social Sciences, Science and Commerce. There are 3 categories of International Students seeking admission to the various courses in the faculties other than Medicine, Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science and Management and for which NOC from the Government of India is not required. Following are the 3 categories.

Category A :
International Students who have passed the qualifying examination from Boards of Higher education in India and who require fresh "Students Visa" from Indian Missions of their country endorsed to University of Pune.

Category B :
International Students who have passed the qualifying examination from outside of India and require fresh "Students Visa" for admission to various general courses and courses in the Faculties of Management and Pharmaceutical Science.

Category C :
 Migrated - In respect of the students in Category (A) above, International Students shall be normally treated at par with Indian Students. The International Students belonging to this category must pay the following fees.
