Deepak Khetrapal, CEO of Jumbo Electronics said that they were the undisputed best retail store and the best people came to for electronics. But somewhere, the public observation is that Jumbo is not keeping up with the times
In order to stay abreast, board meeting was called by Jumbo management and Khetrapal introduced creative ideas and strategies.
Jumbo has been known for selling electronics since the last many years, but its reputation is becoming rusty now.
Jumbo was established in 1974 by the late MR Chhabria. The organization became one of the UAE's first multinational companies after it signed a deal with the Sony Corporation in 1975 to become a distributor.
He adds that having a strong drive of growth, there is no reason for the company to continue with the same success in 2011.
